Congratulations goes out to the Boys’ and the Girls’ Cross-Country Teams! They have now achieved something that no former phase of the Shiloh High School Cross-Country program has accomplished: Dual-squad Back-to-Back trips to the GHSA State Cross-Country Championships. Well done by them!
They each placed third (Grayson, Archer, then Shiloh) in their respective races.
The boys’ squad saw the Generals place TWO freshmen among our top scoring runners, in Demarian Murray and Allan Bahr. Robert Cranston led the way, placing 8th, with Spencer Vitense (12th), Murray (15th), Bahr (23rd), Christian Valencia (24th), and Ifeanyi Ihezue (26th) and Christopher Salgado (28th) rounding out the advancing GHSA Championship team.
The ladies qualified on the deep strength of their close-knit pack. Placing 14th-17th-18th-19th-20th were Tai Cossier, Suriayah Sule, Brianna Christian, Vanessa Mosley, and Hanan Jemel. Rubi Moreno and Emily Fredrick crossed the finish in 27th and 29th.
In the Open Divisions, Zari Anderson and Drew Calderon claimed medals and top 10 finishes!
Nearly every runner ran their season’s best effort. Outstanding racing, and greatest of luck at the State Championships on November 3rd, in Carrollton, GA!
We must also congratulate our dedicated coaches, Coach Ramel and Coach Richards for their dedication and sacrifice to ensure our kids are successful!
