Dear Shiloh General Athletic Family,
As everyone knows now, schools in the state of Georgia have been cancelled for the remainder of the year. Consequently, all spring sports have been cancelled as well. As the proud Athletic Director, it has been very hard for me to come to grips with school and spring sports being cancelled but this pandemic makes all of us realize that there are more important things other than sports. As you take time in your “new normal,” cherish every opportunity that you have to spend with your family.
Behind every strong athletic program is a group of dedicated parents. The Shiloh Athletic Department would like to say “thank you” to all of our parents who go above and beyond to ensure that our programs are successful. To our community stakeholders, we would like to thank you for your support, recognizing it truly takes a village. To the underclassmen, the ball is in your court! It is up to you to come back next school year stronger than ever and honor the legacy the class of 2020 athletes who did not have the opportunity to finish out their season.
To our seniors, words cannot express the sorrow we all are feeling for you. What we are experiencing is unprecedented. As an athletic staff, we collectively have not faced anything close to what is your current reality. We are confident that as you turn this page in your “Book of Life” there are bigger and better things to come. We wish you nothing but the best that life can bring! We love you and we’ll miss you. Thank you for all the magnificent memories that you have given Shiloh Nation!
